Extreme Rally Sports Half Day 24 Laps - $595 per person NSW, VIC, QLD, WA, SA, TAS What a way to spend a Morning. Experience the thrill and learn lots of new skills, during our extreme Rallysports half day. Is Rally Driving something you have always wanted to try? Do you think it looks easy on TV, or know someone who does? A very popular gift for 20, 30 and 40-something Birthdays.. this is an introduction to the adrenalin packed world of rallying. Come out and drive these genuine competition vehicles. If you are shopping around, be aware of the cars you are getting. Our Half Day is twice the seat time of our 2 car blast. You will drive at least 4 times over different course configurations in excess of 28 laps. Then, hang on tight as the tables are turned, and we take you on the ride of a lifetime Hotlap. See what the Navigator sees, and try to concentrate as the world goes by, SIDEWAYS! Your experience begins with a welcome and intro briefing into the world of Rally Driving. Meet the Instructors, look at the cars, We include some of the basic rally driving techniques that will not only help keep you safe, but most of all to coach you into achieving the most from your time behind the wheel. But we cannot teach you all of it in the classroom. Our professional instructors are with you in the car to coach you the whole way, building your speed and confidence lap after lap. You will also often get the choice of which cars you want to drive on the day. We have a range of cars on the day from our fleet including Subaru Wrx STi's, Mitsubishi Lancer Evo's or our RWD V8 Ford and Holden Utes.* (you don't have to choose now). * We operate the Ford and Holden V8s only on the East Coast (QLD, NSW, VIC) After your driving is completed it is our turn to take you for a Hotlap, you will be presented with a Certificate to keep as a memento of your day, and a taste to come back for more! TAS- Latrobe (Devonport) Number on the DayFor our Extreme Rally Half Day, you will be in a group of between 8 and 12 drivers, sharing up to 4 cars. Watching the others can be half the fun SessionsSessions happen at various times on weekdays and weekends, and take about 4 hours including the briefing, you driving, and your hotlap ride. What about my Guests?Of course Rally is also a spectator sport. You are welcome to bring your guests along to act as your own "Cheer Squad". Remember to bring the cameras as well, and perhaps some light refreshments. Time permitting; there may be the opportunity for your guest to experience a Hotlap also. This is arranged on the day. Who can Drive?Anyone aged 16 years or over can drive our rally cars. All our cars (over 15 of them!) are manual, and this is not a learners course on how to operate a clutch! You need to competently be able to drive a manual car, to get the most from the experience. Terms and ConditionsPlease be sure to check these. Gift certificates are non refundable. Once a date is booked you may transfer or upgrade to another available date with 14 days notice. More What to wearPlease be sure to wear long trousers, closed in shoes. The floor of the car is often dirty and HOT. Guests also need to meet these requirements if they are enjoying a 'hot lap'. WeatherGood 'dry' weather required for Rally Driving on Gravel. The Judgement and final decisions are made at the track by our experienced professional drivers. Wet is sometimes fun and challenging, but it lots slower and often more dangerous. Our V8 Utes are scared of the rain. If you are uncertain about the weather, the decision is made after 7.30am ON THE DAY of the experience, and you can contact us on 1800 208 000. If a session is cancelled, we will attempt to contact you via SMS, but remember the number we have may be the mobile of the person who gave you the gift. Hot lapsExtra hotlaps may be available on the day, Subject to time and car availability, $50 In-Car VideoWe can offer you a recording of your driving. Our Rally Cars are fitted with in-car cameras with various views, and we can provide you with a Digital recording of your driving and HOTLAPS to take home with you on the day.
